The neck opening is round and measures 6.25″ in diameter. The sides have been stitched to create arm holes.

This huipil is a rich deep burgundy color accented with light multi-colored stripes and has an exquisite flower garden around the collar that is trademark of the Patzún region. The flowers are all hand embroidered in wonderful shades of lavenders, yellows, and pinks. The background fabric is soft woven cotton. This huipil is soft to the touch and the stripes are left loose to create a lovely fringe.

The neck opening is more or less round and measures 6.5″ in diameter. The sides have been stitched to create arm holes. *The sides have been taken in approximately 1.5″ on each side. If let out, the huipil would be wider.

This huipil is a rich deep burgundy color accented with light multi-colored stripes and has an exquisite flower garden around the collar that is trademark of the Patzún region. The flowers are all hand embroidered in wonderful shades of lavenders, yellows, and pinks. There are very tiny accents of metallic threads in some of the flowers. The background fabric is soft woven cotton. This huipil is wonderfully soft to the touch.

This sweet flower and bird filled huipil is from the area of Patzún. This lovely huipil measures 32″ across the shoulders, 29″ across the chest*, and 20″ from the neckline to the bottom edges (folded). The neck opening is square and measures 6″ x 6″. *The sides have been taken in approximately 2″ – 3″ on each side, so if let out this huipil could be much wider in size.

This huipil is rich with deep purple and burgundy birds and flowers across the chest and back in a more modern style of huipil from the Patzun area. The embroidery is hand-guided machine done and features tiny accents of metallic thread in the center of each flower. The sleeves are accented with matching bird accents. The background fabric is super soft woven black cotton.

Striking ‘mayan calendar’ design huipil with beautiful weaving and embroidery! It is from Patzún in the Chimaltenango region of Guatemala. This lovely huipil measures 30″ across the shoulders, 33″ across the lower edge, and 17 1/2″ from the neckline to the bottom edges (folded). The neck opening is round and measures 6 1/4″ in diameter. The sides have been partially sewn to create armholes.

This huipil is exquisite with a hand embroidered design radiating from the collar. The style is that of the mayan calendar, with blocks of mayan figures and feathers circling the neck opening in a rainbow of soft pastel colors. There are feather accents at the sleeve openings and tiny flowers down the front and back where the two panels join. This huipil is more similar to the vintage ceremonial style huipiles instead of the more modern ones of all flowers.

The background fabric is a thick burgundy weaving with bands of colored stripes. The stripes have been left to hang at the ends creating a unique tiny fringe.

The flowers are all hand stitched in wonderful colors of blues, yellows, pinks, and purples and extends to both sides. The embroidery is slightly different from the traditional Patzún freestyle flowers; it is more of a straight needlepoint style of work. The colors and flowers give it an heirloom feeling. The background fabric is the classic super soft woven cotton.

This huipil is the most unique teal-tinted green color and has the traditional flower ring around the collar that is trademark of the Patzún region. The flowers are all hand embroidered in wonderful colors of blues, yellows, pinks, and purples and extends to both sides. The embroidery is slightly different from the traditional Patzún freestyle flowers; it is more of a straight needlepoint style of work. The colors and flowers give it an heirloom feeling.
