San Antonio Palopó

Like new super large huipil from San Antonio Palopó in the Lake Atitlán area. This crisp huipil has clean lines and colors that reflect the turquoise colored waters of the lake. This large huipil measures 34″ across the shoulders, 34″ from the shoulders to the bottom hem. The collar is round and measures approximately 7″. Huipils from San Antonio Palopó are woven on a foot loom by men, and then decorated with accents by women. This huipil has a hand embroidered decoration around the collar and a black velvet trim. The body of the huipil is accented with gold thread scattered across the huipil.

This huipil is in excellent condition and has very little sign of wear. There is very minor wear in a few tiny spots of the velvet collar.

This large huipil measures 27″ across the shoulders, 37 1/2″ from the shoulders to the bottom hem, and the collar is square and measures approximately 5 1/2″ by 5″.

This huipil is in excellent condition and has no sign of wear.
