Classic Vintage Huipil from the Chichicastenango region of Guatemala, famous for having one of the largest markets in the country. Traditional tapestry style with a beautiful floral design. This huipil measures 28 1/2″ across the shoulders, 27″ from the neckline to the bottom edges (folded). The neck opening is round and measures 4 1/2″ in diameter with an additional 2 1/2″ slit on the side.

This three panel huipil is striking with elaborate embroidery that features multi-colored flowers throughout the body and shoulders in pink, orange, blue, and green. The neckline is decorated with the radiating sun in various shades of pink. The background fabric is soft brown cotton

This huipil is used, and shows some wear in the lower part of the fabric.
