This flower-filled huipil is from the area of Patzún. This lovely huipil measures 30″ across the shoulders, and 21″ from the neckline to the bottom edges (folded). The neck opening is round and measures 6 1/2″ in diameter.

This huipil is the most beautiful deep burgundy colored and has the traditional flower ring around the collar that is trademark of the Patzún region. The flowers are all hand embroidered in wonderful colors of reds, pinks, and purples. The collar is trimmed in black crochet. The background fabric is super soft woven cotton.

This huipil is in very good used condition with a few minor signs of wear. The bottom edge shows where the extra thread was woven back into the huipil (slightly lumpy at bottom edge).
