This huipil is beautiful with its deep colors of burgundy, royal blue, and gold/yellow that features the traditional animal motifs found in the huipiles of San Juan Sacatepéquez, including the feathered serpent. The colors of the figures are yellow, royal blue, and green. The randa (where the seams join in the center), collar, and sleeve caps are accented with machine embroidery of beautiful birds and flowers. The collar and sleeve openings are trimmed in light blue velvet.

This huipil is in good used condition for a vintage textile, with some sign of wear, including wear on the velvet trim and some slight wear in the bodice. This is a large, heavy, and lovely textile!
