Fajas are woven sashes used to hold up the corte (skirt) in the mayan traje or outfit. They are sometimes thin and simple, or wide and ornate. Fajas are usually hand woven on a backstrap loom and accented with woven designs or machine embroidery.

Delantales are aprons that are worn from the waist down. They also can be very simple or quite ornate and usually have roomy pockets for keeping things secure.

Cintas are ribbons or long sashes that are worn in the hair as adornment or to hold the hair in place.
