One of a kind striking vintage men’s shirt from the Todos Santos Cuchumatán region in Guatemala. This could be used by both women or men as a shirt or a jacket, or used for display. This medium-sized shirt measures 22″ across the shoulders, 28″ across the chest, 28″ from the shoulder to the lower edge (down the front), and 22 1/2″ from the shoulder to the tip of the sleeve.
This classic style shirt from the Todos Santos Cuchumatán region in Guatemala is made from heavy and tightly woven fabric with elaborate hand woven accents on the collar and sleeve cuffs. This is the same style shirt as seen being used by the horse riders of the region during their wild races on the 1st day of November every year.
This shirt is in fair used condition with minor signs of wear; a few loose threads, a couple of tiny wear holes, and several faint stains that appear to be rust from the snaps on the front and sleeves. An unique and striking textile!
